Terms of use
The rules for using this website, and the honest limits of what it tells you.
Last updated: 6 October 2026
1. About these terms
These terms apply to your use of bunkersinindia.com (the "website"), operated by Qilyx Shelters ("we", "us", "our"). By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it. These terms are an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and do not require a physical or digital signature.
2. Information only, not engineering advice
Everything on this website is general information. It is not engineering, medical, legal or safety advice for your particular situation. Do not rely on it to build, modify or use any structure. Shelter designs depend on site conditions and must be prepared and approved by qualified professionals.
3. No guarantee of survival
No shelter can guarantee survival. Protection depends on the type, size and location of an event, the distance from it, the weather, how quickly people reach the shelter, how the shelter is used and maintained, and many other factors outside anyone's control. Our shelters are not designed to survive a direct hit by a missile or bomb, or a detonation at or near the shelter.
Figures on this website for wall thickness, earth cover, protection factors, blast ratings, days of autonomy and similar specifications are typical design targets. They are not promises. The specifications that apply to any shelter we build are those written into the signed contract for that shelter.
4. Quotations
We do not publish prices. Any figures we give before a site assessment are estimates and are not offers. A binding price is given only in a written quotation after a site assessment, and becomes binding only when a contract is signed. Quotations exclude land and taxes, including GST, unless stated.
5. Enquiries
Sending an enquiry does not create a contract or any obligation on either side. We may decline any enquiry or project at our discretion, including where we believe a shelter would be unsafe, unlawful or used for unlawful purposes.
Enquiry form submissions are delivered to us through Web3Forms, a third-party form delivery service, over an encrypted connection. Please do not send your street address, access codes or other highly sensitive details by email.
6. Emergency information
The emergency protocol, family plan builder and related guidance on this website are general preparedness information. In an emergency, always follow instructions from the Government of India, the National Disaster Management Authority, civil defence and local authorities. Their instructions take priority over anything on this website.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the website for any unlawful purpose or in breach of any applicable law
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website or its hosting systems, or interfere with their operation
- Copy, scrape or republish substantial parts of the website without written permission
- Send us false information, or information about other people without their permission
8. Intellectual property
The text, illustrations, diagrams, design and code of this website belong to us or our licensors. You may view and print pages for your personal, non-commercial use, including printing your own family emergency plan. Any other use needs our written permission. Brand names of third parties mentioned on this website belong to their owners.
9. Links to other websites
Where we link to other websites, we do so for information. We do not control and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of, or reliance on, this website or its content, including indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law, including under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. Our liability in connection with any shelter we build is governed solely by the contract for that shelter.
11. Availability
We aim to keep the website available and accurate, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or up to date. We may change or remove content at any time.
12. Privacy
Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data and forms part of these terms.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from them will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India. Before going to court, we both agree to try to resolve any dispute in good faith by contacting each other in writing.
14. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continued use of the website after a change means you accept the updated terms.
