How we work

From a first conversation to a commissioned, rehearsed shelter. Every project gets a fixed, written quotation before any construction starts.

Four stages of a shelter build Four panels along one ground line. Assess: a survey instrument and a borehole testing the soil. Excavate: an open pit with a spoil heap. Build: a crane lowers material into the pit as the concrete shell goes up. Seal and test: the shell is buried, with an air intake above and people safely inside. Assess Excavate Build Seal and test

What shapes the cost

Every shelter is custom, so we do not publish prices. These are the factors your quotation is built from. More detail in what decides the cost of a bunker in India.

Size and autonomy

How many people, for how many days. This sets floor area, water, fuel and stores.

Protection level

Earth cover, wall thickness, blast rating and the air system level.

Ground conditions

Rock, clay or a high water table change excavation and waterproofing.

Site and access

Open land is simpler than a tight urban plot or an existing building.

Timing

Building alongside a new project costs less than retrofitting.

Finish and options

Fit-out, cover function, medical bay, tunnels and redundancy.
